What we do with your details when you request a ride, and which cookies this website uses.

When you request a ride through the website, by phone, WhatsApp or email, we use your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), pick-up and drop-off address, date and time, number of passengers and anything you send us yourself, such as a flight number. We use these details to plan, confirm and carry out your ride, and to reach you if something changes.
The legal basis is the performance of the agreement you enter into by requesting a ride. For our administration we keep ride details for as long as the law requires (Dutch tax retention period: seven years).
The driver who carries out your ride receives the details needed for it. Our website and booking system run with a Dutch hosting provider that processes your details only on our instructions. We do not sell your details or use them for other purposes. If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp's terms also apply.
If you enter a pick-up and drop-off address on the contact page, we show a small map of the route. The map imagery comes from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address when it loads. The map only loads once you enter addresses yourself — simply opening the page does not load it.
Cookies: this website uses Google Analytics to see how the site is used and Google Ads to measure whether our ads lead to ride requests. Without your consent the site sets no cookies for this and uses no advertising identifiers. Only when you click "Accept" in the notice at the bottom of the page are these cookies switched on. You can change your choice at any time with the button below.
Your rights: you may view, correct or have your details deleted (as far as we are not legally required to keep them), and object to their use. Send an email to info@taxicentraleamstelland.nl. If you disagree with how we handle your details, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
