Amsterdam Dance Event 2026 runs from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 October 2026. For five days there are hundreds of nights in venues and clubs across the city — from Paradiso and Melkweg around Leidseplein to Ziggo Dome and AFAS Live in Zuidoost and the Gashouder at Westergas. The programme per venue is on ADE’s own website; we make sure you get there and back.
We are based in Amstelveen, just south of Amsterdam. That is exactly the advantage if you are staying in a hotel in Amstelveen, near Schiphol or in Badhoevedorp, or if you live in Amstelland. Getting into the city is easy; getting back on an ADE night is the hard part. When the last set ends at four in the morning, the trams to Amstelveen have stopped, everyone leaves at once and a free taxi on the street is hard to find. Book your ride home in advance and that problem is gone: the car is there at the agreed time and place, and the fare was fixed before you got in.
That fare is not an estimate. Book at least one hour ahead and the amount our fare calculator shows is the amount you pay — for the whole car, so with four people it is split four ways. Traffic on the A10, a detour around a closed street or a queue at the Arena Boulevard does not change it. Only a taxi you need right now, without booking, runs on the meter. Our drivers speak English.

Four tips for an ADE night
- Book ahead — the fare is fixedAt least one hour before, ideally the day before. The price you see when you book is what you pay. A taxi hailed on the street runs on the meter, and on an ADE night only after a long wait.
- Expect crowds at closing timeAt the end of the night and between four and six in the morning everyone wants to leave at the same time. Choose a pick-up time just after the last set ends so you are not caught in the rush.
- Agree a recognisable pick-up pointThe street outside a club is often closed off or packed. Name a corner or square nearby when you book — at Paradiso and Melkweg for example a spot on Leidseplein, at Ziggo Dome a point on the Arena Boulevard — and keep your phone on.
- Pay online, just get inIn the booking form you can choose to pay online with iDEAL or credit card. The ride is then settled in advance and nobody has to pay or count after a long night.

How much is a taxi from Leidseplein back to Uithoorn?
Booked in advance, €99.50 for the whole saloon car, from Leidseplein to the centre of Uithoorn. For your own address the fare calculator on this page shows the exact amount, and that is what you pay, even if the roads are busy.
Can I book my ride home in the middle of the night in advance?
Yes. We drive day and night, including the ADE weekend. Book at least one hour ahead — earlier is better — and agree a fixed pick-up time and a recognisable pick-up point. The fixed fare then applies and the driver is there at the agreed moment.
What if the set runs late and I want to leave later?
Call or WhatsApp us as soon as you know it will be later. We move the pick-up time if the schedule allows. The sooner you let us know, the easier that is on a busy night.
Can I pay online in advance?
Yes. In the booking form you choose cash, card in the car, or online payment with iDEAL or credit card. If you pay online, the ride is settled and you simply get in afterwards.
Can you take me to Schiphol after ADE?
Yes. From Amsterdam city centre we drive to Schiphol for the fixed fare from our Schiphol list: €55.00 by saloon car. Useful if you fly home straight after the last night.
